Fall is my favorite. The golden sunsets and brisk are just steal my heart. It must be contagious because fall is busy season for photographers. I have been blessed with some amazing couples this fall and they are all so eager to do their portraits in unique locations! I kicked off October with Chris and Janise, who came all the way up from Atlanta, to do their engagement session and decided where better to do their fall session than the golden hills of Brown County State Park! Strangely, as an Indiana resident, I've actually never really been to Brown County. I've had a wedding there but was not able to spend any free time exploring so I was overjoyed knowing we would have several hours to explore the area. While heading back home we decided to take a few minutes to check out Nashville, IN because I had heard how adorable and quaint it was. I'm so glad we did and want to go back so bad!

Chris and Janise were so wonderful to be around. They're so outgoing, friendly....and totally in love! One of my favorite parts of engagement session is hearing about how my couples met and hear their engagement story. I couldn't help but think of my husband and I when Janise was explaining how she and Chris met in college.
