I don't even know where to start with this wedding....it was such a fun and beautiful day! Jon and Emily tied the knot one Saturday in June in downtown Indianapolis. I was so excited to shoot at a new venue and be out of Fort Wayne for a day, it was a refreshing break in the middle of a busy wedding season! Emily had planned out every little detail so beautifully. She even designed her bouquets on her own! Their ceremony and reception were both held in the (jaw dropping) Scottish Rite. I love when couples choose to have their entire wedding day in one venue. It is such a seamless day not only for the wedding party but for their guests too!

I met with Emily and her bridesmaids at the hotel to photograph the girls getting ready and Emily's stunning bridal details. Once the girls were all dressed and ready to go we met with Jon and the groomsmen at the Scottish Rite for their first look and a few quick portraits before it was time for their ceremony! Once their ceremony was finished we quickly ran outside for some family portraits while the guests visited with each other during cocktail hour. Finally it was time for their reception....errrr....party! Jon and Emily had briefed me on their GRAND entrance that they had planned but nothing could have prepared me. There was a light show...a introduction video featuring their wedding party...and a fog machine...need I say more? They worked with NBE Event Group to put on an AMAZING reception for their guests.
