My heart fell in love with Cari as soon as I met her. She is just the sweetest girl I have met in a really long time...and then she told me that she and Kyle were in show choir...and I melted. Why? Because so was I (and today I realized that HOLY CRAP, my 10 year high school reunion is in May...what the what???? How!?) I was so excited for their wedding because I just had a feeling it would be filled with so much happiness and ya know...singing and dancing! I was so right! But above all....Cari was a down right stunning bride. I can't even begin to come up with words so I'll just let you look at the pictures but you guys, her dress.... Anyway, They tied the knot here in Fort Wayne, IN and partied it up at the Pine Valley Country Club which is another one of my favorite venues, apparently I just love shooting on golf courses??

I absolutely love shooting bridal details and ALWAYS make a point to fit them into my wedding day schedule with my couples. So I arrived a little early at Kyle and Cari's wedding and shot a few quick pictures of her dress, shoes and rings before we ran outside for a few quick bridal shots before we headed over to the church for the ceremony. Not only was her dress AMAZING...but her shoes, ladies, her shoes. So many brides skimp on their shoes thinking "Hey, no one is going to see them anyways!" Wrong. Their ceremony was beautiful and sentimental, they wrote their own vows and while I can't remember the exact context...I know it was my first and probably only wedding to mention nachos during their vows...which gave us all a good laugh! I don't think their ceremony would have been complete without having some of their closest friends sing for them as they lit their unity candle...it was perfect. After the ceremony we headed back over to the country club for some more shots on the golf course before they partied the night away just as I hoped and expected they would. I felt like I was among my own kind and sang right along with them! I know, I'm weird. Anyway, enjoy Kyle and Cari's wedding day!
